Barbara Campbell

Was / Is, was a participatory work installed at Rio Vista Park (the old sculpture triennial site in Mildura). The work was activated by the audience who took rubbings from temporary plaques planted around the park. Each plaque displayed a haiku that Campbell had compiled from lines in Noel Sheridan‘s 1975 6th Mildura Sculpture Exhibition catalogue essay.
