A bird is in the library print project was produced during Barbara Campbell’s Printmaker-in-Residency period at Piscator Press, Fisher Library, University of Sydney in 2019.

To Fill the Hollow (small works on paper) (2020)
Made during Covid lockdown, this series of works on paper takes the negative (hollow) space of one particular terracotta votive figure (AAR_079 from the collection of the American Academy in Rome) and fills the hollow repeatedly, using a different graphic medium on each occasion.

In 2019 I opened a new line of enquiry under the umbrella TO FILL THE HOLLOW; focusing on terracotta, female votive figures of the 6th to 2nd centuries BCE.
